High Weir Spiral Classifier entensively suitable for metal ore selection procedure when grading the ore slurry by size, it can also be used to get rid of the mud, dehydrates in washing ore, ofter make up a close circle together with the ball mill.
Working Principle
The grinded pulp is fed into tank from the inlet in the middle of settlement region, and the slurry classification sedimentation area is under the inclined tank. The spiral with low speed rotation stirs the slurry, so that the fine particles rice, and the coarse particles sinks to the bottom of tank. Overflow weir is above the bearing center which is under screw shaft, and is underneath overflow end.
Features and advantages of concentrating spiral classifier
1).Simple structure, reliable running and easy operation.
2).It mechanically classifies through the mechanism of different sedimentation speed of solid particle in liquid due to different size and different specific gravity.
3).It can classify the ground material powder from the grinder, spiral the coarse grain into material inlet of grinder through the spiral chip, and discharge the classified fine grain from overflow surface.
4).Its base is made from channel steel, and its body is welded from steel plate.
5).The lower support of spiral bearing is of engine-bearing structure of good wear resistance and durability.
6).The lifting device is of electric and manual mode.
