Million tons of PTA equipment manufacturing to create better results
China has made great achievements in the preparation of one million tons of PTA (pure terephthalic acid) complete sets. On August 11th, a news came out from Tianhua Chemical Machinery and Automation Research & Design Institute. Following the exportation of PTA large-scale steam pipe rotary drying device to Belgium and contracting Zhejiang Yisheng PTA rotary drying device, Tianhua Yuan also signed with Xianglu Petrochemical Co., Ltd. Two sets of 1 million tons/year PTA rotary dryer complete sets of equipment projects, the contract amount up to 158.8 million yuan. This set of equipment hits three of the world's largest: largest scale, largest single-line capacity and the most difficult to manufacture.
Xianglu Petrochemical Co., Ltd. is a foreign-funded large-scale petrochemical enterprise approved and established by the state. It plans to build 15 million tons/year of refining oil, 2 million tons/year of ethylene, and has the world's largest single-line capacity of PTA. The current project under construction is 2 million tons/year. PTA and 800,000 tons/year PX are two world-class product manufacturing bases. The 1 million ton PTA complete system installation project signed by Tianhuayuan and Xianglu Petrochemical Co., Ltd. is located in Gulei Peninsula, Zhangpu County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province. It belongs to Xianglu Petrochemical Phase II Expansion Project and is associated with Tenglong Aromatic Hydrocarbons (Cangzhou) Limited. The company's annual output of 800,000 tons of PX (paraxylene) project will be integrated with the public project. After completion, its PTA annual production capacity will reach 4.4 million tons. It is reported that this project has been included in the National "Planning and Revitalization Plan of the Petrochemical Industry".
As an important part of the PTA complete set, the steam tube rotary dryer has extremely high requirements for the manufacturing process and technical content. As one of the major R&D, design and manufacturing organizations of China's petrochemical equipment, Tianhua Institute has made a series of major research achievements in the major technology research and development of petrochemical equipment. After many years of innovation, practice and improvement, the institute has mastered the engineering amplification technology for steam tube rotary dryers, established a heat transfer coefficient and material residence time correlation model and piping and drainage model, using ANSYS software to carry out the key component structure Stress analysis and optimization, completed the study of corrosion and material selection, has the design, processing technology and installation and debugging experience of large-scale steam tube rotary dryers, and has obtained 3 patents for steam tube rotary dryers. The technology has been widely applied in PTA, coal moisture control and lignite modulation production devices of well-known domestic companies such as Luoyang Petrochemical, Wuhua Petrochemical, Jialong Petrochemical, Yizheng Chemical Fiber, Shenhua Group, Baosteel, Taigang, Panzhihua Iron and Steel.
