July car prices fell slightly domestic cars fell by 0.15%

The National Development and Reform Commission price monitoring center recently released a report that the national auto market price declined slightly in July. Among them, domestic car prices fell 0.15% year-on-year and year-on-year, while imported car prices fell 0.14% month-on-month, but rose 8.63% from the same period last year.

According to the National Development and Reform Commission’s monitoring of 36 large and medium-sized cities throughout the country, the price of passenger cars in July rose slightly by 0.09% from the previous month, and was down by 2.47% from the same period last year. Among them, the prices of cars and minibuses rose by 0.46% and 0.48% respectively from the previous month, and the SUV decreased by 0.40% from the previous month. The price of commercial vehicles dropped by 0.44% from the previous month and was 2.33% higher than the price of the same period last year. The National Development and Reform Commission expects that the prices of autos will continue to gradually fall off and stabilize over time.
